Merri Health threw one of the most memorable work Christmas parties in history this year. This party and catering will go down as one of the year’s highlights.
Casey from Merri Health came to us with a problem! Her previous Christmas parties were a tad on the bland side, so she wanted to spice it up this year, and we were happy to oblige.
Paul, our event extraordinaire, turned the sirens on, and we all rushed to the catering cave and spent countless hour planning, mapping and scheming the perfect event for Merrihealth and its 300 amazing attendees. We had a light bulb moment…. Theatre through food!
We decided to curate a new and exciting Paella menu cooked at the location by our Spanish chefs. Casey was full of Christmas cheer when we pitched the concept.
The star of the catering service was the spanish paellas, which were cooked on-site in giant pans. This spectacle gave the event a touch of entertainment as our chef showed off his culinary skills, skillfully turning the ingredients into colourful goodness for all to see.
It created a thrilling ambience that made guests feel like they were part of the yummy action! The heavenly smell of herbs and spices wafted through the air as the paellas sizzled away in the hot pans, making people’s mouths water with anticipation. The paellas were filled with succulent chicken chorizos and vegetables, and were a massive hit with the partygoers.
In addition to the paella, guests enjoyed a range of other food items, including bao buns, salads, rice paper rolls, and fruit skewers. These provided a nice balance to the heavier paellas and allowed guests to sample a variety of flavours and textures.
We also served little bertha petite cakes for dessert, which were the perfect sweet ending.
Overall, the Christmas party catering was a huge success and was enjoyed by all who attended. The delicious food and beautifully decorated venue helped to create a wonderful atmosphere where everyone could get into the holiday spirit. Everyone left with full bellies and happy memories!
