Thank goodness for our refrigerated vans!

The hot and humid weather over the past month or so has certainly tested our refrigeration capacity! We have 15 fridges and freezers on site at 96 Rosslyn St of various shapes and sizes. Add to that, the 19 refrigerated vans on the road means that we’ve got plenty of “grunt” when it comes to keeping your food safe and fresh.

One of the initiatives we have in place is the use of a fantastic technology called “Clever Logger” which wirelessly records every one of our fridges and freezers every 2 minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Any unit that spikes above the correct temperature for more than 5 minutes raises an alarm which is sent directly to my phone – 24 hours a day!

Not only does it give me peace of mind that our stock is protected it’ll give you peace of mind that your food will arrive in pristine condition and safe to eat.

Added to the protocols we have in place in the kitchen, the fact that all of our vans have state of the art refrigeration hardware in them means that even while your catering is making its’ way to you, it’s chilled and fresh.
