Your Say

Oh Louise,

A big thank you to your team for managing to meet my order requirements at such short notice! We will definitely be recommending Elizabeth Andrews Catering as the top service to use!

Thanks again

On Wednesday the 9th of May, the Union movement exercised their right to strike which had the effect of bringing Melbourne to a halt. One of the beauties of Australia is that workers have the right to protest exists and from time to time, they observe it.

While the Unions flexed their muscles, life went on around the protests and the march. That included having to delivery more than 100 deliveries on that day when there was gridlock in the city. The image above is of me running down the middle of Latrobe St with a trolley having just dropped of food at RMIT. The march had been and gone and the police were yet to open the road again so I thought I’d take advantage of the empty roads - and the slope!

We’ll always try and get your food to you on time and if we think there’ll be an issue getting your food to you on time, we’ll let you know as soon as we can.

On the day of the march (9th May), some of our deliveries were late and for that we apologies. But I’d like to thank almost everyone who expressed their understanding of the situation we found ourselves in and the comments from those who recognised the lengths that we went to, to get the catering delivered – albeit slightly late for some clients.

Food Quote

“My wife and I tried to breakfast together, but we had to stop or our marriage would have been wrecked.”

Cooking Tip

When you deep-fry, hold each piece of food with long tongs as you add it to the oil. Hold it just below the oil's surface for five seconds before releasing it. This will seal the exterior and stop it from sticking to the pot or the other food.
