Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is an annual state-wide celebration of Victoria’s food and wine industry. From its’ humble beginnings almost a quarter of a century ago it has grown to become Australia’s pre-eminent food and wine festival.

Melbourne International Comedy Festival
Wed 29th March – Sun 23rd April

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is back for it’s 30th performance. Literally taking over the whole city and putting a smile on everyone’s dial. Track down some tickets in one of the hundreds of venues and enjoy!

Art + Climate = Change 2017
Now – Wed 19th April

Art + Climate = Change is a festival of climate change-related arts and ideas including 30 curated exhibitions alongside keynote lectures and public programs.




It’s fantastic to see the reaction we’re getting to the new menu that we launched at the start of February.

As part of the process of developing a new menu we do a lot of kitchen testing, sample transporting (to see how items hold up in the real world) and focus group work. Above and beyond all of these issues is the safety of the product when it lands at your office so the importance of well serviced holding, refrigeration and transportation equipment is paramount.

It’s when the menu goes live and we start getting the mass feedback that we really manage to gauge it’s success. It can be a little nail-biting when it launches, especially when you consider that because of everyone’s personal preferences there are bound to be a few people who see their favourite item drop off the menu and be replaced by something else. Thankfully, it doesn’t take people long to discover that what they loved before has been replaced by something they can fall in love with all over again.

The thing I really love about this business is the conversation……….the conversation we have with all the stakeholders, whether they be suppliers, staff or customers. Everyone has an opinion about food which is understandable when you consider we’d all be a bit stuck without it! I love listening to all the opinions and taking them all on board so please, if you have anything to say – especially about the new menu, drop me a line, give me a call or even send me a snail mail.

Did You Know?

We’ve recently added a 10th van to our fleet. We’re in the process of having it converted with a state of the art refrigeration unit plus the insulation to go with it. This means all your cold food will arrive in pristine condition and exceeding all health and safety requirements.

Never crack an egg on the edge of a bowl. You should always use a rounded or flat surface as this will reduce the risk of shell shards and possible contamination of your food.
